Who can access Share Trading? |
| |
You must be a CIMB Clicks user as well as an iTrade user in order to access Share Trading via CIMB Clicks.

What information do I need to key-in to access Share Trading? |
| |
You are required key-in your iTrade Login ID and Trading account number. For your subsequent logins, you’ll be routed directly to our online Trading System.

Do I need to pay for the services? |
| |
No. The service is free of charge.
|

What should I do if I do not have a trading account? |
| |
Please follow the steps below to open a trading account:

Download the i*trade@CIMB Application Form here. |
Step 2

Print out & complete the application form. |
| Step 3 |
Submit your signed form along with a photocopy of your NRIC and a business card (if applicable) to the nearest CIMB Bank branch. |
An email will then be sent to you upon your successful application. A formal letter will also be mailed to your registered address.

How do I sign up at iTrade |

Visit www.itradecimb.com.my to sign up as a user. |
Step 2

Click on Sign Up & select Online Registration. |
| Step 3 |
Read & accept the Online Terms & Conditions. |
| Step 4 |
Complete the Online Registration Form then "Submit" |

Steps to install Microsoft VM:
| Step 1 |
To install new programme, go to
http://dl.ebrokerconnect.com/download/msjavx86.exe |
Step 2
|
Click “Save” and opt to save onto your desktop or C drive. |
| Step 3 |
Once it has been downloaded, locate the file (msjavx86.exe) and continue to install in your computer. |
| Step 4 |
Upon completion of installation, you’ll need to reboot / restart your computer. |
Steps to follow after successful installation of Microsoft VM:
| Step 1 |
After restarting the computer, launch your Internet Explorer. |
| Step 2 |
Click on “Tools” then “Internet Options” followed by “Advanced” tab. |
Step 3

Scroll down to “Java Sun” & uncheck the box under “Use JRE 1.5.0_11 for <applet> (requires restart)” |
| Step 4 |
Under “Microsoft VM”, check the 1st box “Java console enabled…” & 3rd box “JIT compiler…” |
| Step 5 |
Click “Apply” and “Ok” button. |
| Step 6 |
Close all programmes & restart your computer. |
Notes:
If “Microsoft VM” is already installed in the computer, it will appear under “Tools” – “Internet Options” – “Advanced”. Please check and ensure the settings are correct.
If “Microsoft VM” (checked in the 1st and 3rd box) and “Java Sun” (unchecked) are already under “Tools” - “Internet Options” – “Advanced”, please perform the following steps:

Uncheck “Microsoft VM” on the 1st box only. Leave the 3rd box checked. |

Click “Apply” and “Ok”. |

What if I have forgotten my trading PIN? |

Please follow the steps below to re-set your trading PIN:
| Step 1 |
Click on “Forgot PIN” at www.itradecimb.com to retrieve a hint to your Trading PIN. |

Step 2

On the pop-up screen, key-in the answer to your hint password and click
“Submit”. |
 |
| Step 3 |
The system will automatically regenerate a 6-digit code which will be sent to
your assigned email address. |
 |
| Upon receiving the newly generated 6-digit code, you will then need to log on and change this 6-digit code to your own personalized trading PIN. |

I cannot remember my User ID, what should I do? |

What are the system requirements to view Share Trading? |

Internet enabled personal computer, minimum Pentium II @ 200MHz, 64MB RAM, resolution 800 x 600, 56.6k Modem with Internet "Explorer 6.0 or higher & Java Runtime Engine. CIMB Clicks Share Trading is not compatible in Apple Mac PC, Netscape Navigator and Mozilla browser.
