Transaction Authorisation Code (TAC) is a security features to protect your account from unauthorised use. To complete a transaction, you will receive a TAC from CIMB Clicks via one or more of the following methods to verify that you are the rightful person performing the transaction:

SecureTAC is a security feature required for most CIMB Clicks transactions. With SecureTAC, you can enjoy easy and secure one-tap approval through the CIMB Clicks App instead of manually keying in the 6-digit SMS TAC

If you still don't see SecureTAC icon, please delete the app and install the latest version of CIMB Clicks App. If issue persists, please contact our Consumer Contact Centre at the number on back of your card for assistance.
You can activate SecureTAC on maximum of two (2) devices. When you try to activate SecureTAC on the third (3rd) device, you will receive a prompt message to deactivate one of the existing device.
Changing your mobile number does not affect your SecureTAC. You are advised to update your latest mobile number at the nearest CIMB ATM to for uninterrupted access to CIMB Clicks.
Yes, simply install the latest CIMB Clicks App from app stores and follow the screen guide to complete the one-time activation. To deactivate SecureTAC in the lost phone, please contact our Consumer Call Centre at +603 6204 7788.
The transaction will NOT be processed without the SecureTAC approval.
Yes, you can perform one-time SecureTAC activation as long as you are able to receive TAC via SMS on your registered mobile number. For assistance, please contact our Consumer Contact Centre at the number on back of your card.
Selected types of transaction such as viewing of Singapore account and first-time activation will require authorisation via SMS.
