In line with the enhanced security measures against scams announced by Bank Negara Malaysia ("BNM"), the latest version of CIMB Clicks App allows only single registered device access.
All new to CIMB Clicks App users will only be able to register a single device to use the app and SecureTAC authorisation feature effective end of October 2022. This will be applicable to all new downloads and registrations for the CIMB Clicks App, with only one device to be paired to a CIMB Clicks ID at any one time.
Existing users who currently have two registered devices, are recommended to proactively review app settings and remove non-primary devices, e.g. secondary devices or devices that are no longer in use, as soon as possible before March 2023. In the latter phase of this exercise, all non-primary registered devices will be automatically deactivated by the bank.
