1) What is CIMB Merchant Portal?
CIMB Merchant Portal is a web based interface that allows merchants to access biller reports online
2) What does Biller means?
Billers are corporations that accept bill payment online; e.g. Tenaga Nasional Berhad, Celcom, PTPTN, Astro & etc
3) How do I access the CIMB Merchant Portal?
Merchants will be assigned with a User ID & Temporary Password in order to access the CIMB Biller Portal. Your User ID & Temporary Password will be assigned by the CIMB Bank. You mat contact our support center via
4) How do I retrieve my User ID & Password?
Your user ID & Temporary Password will be sent to your primary email address.
5) I have my User ID & Temporary Password. What do I do now?
Once you have obtained your User ID & Temporary Password, you are required to perform a First Time Login by accessing the CIMB Merchant Portal
6) Can I create my own User ID?
Your User ID will be created by the Bank. You will not be able to create your own User ID. However, if you have a preferred User ID, please inform our Sales Personnel and they will check on its availability.
7) Can I create my own Password?
You will need to change your Temporary Password upon login.
8) How long is my Temporary Password valid for?
Your Temporary Password will be valid for 30days. You will be required to perform a First Time Login within this time period
9) What is the next step upon login?
You will be able to view/download your reports from the past 30 days
10) Can I download reports more than 6 months?
The system keeps reports for the past 30 days. You are advised to download your reports on a daily or weekly basis.
11) What happens if the auto email gets bounced back?
As per current setting at email server, the system will try to send the email for 2/3 times
12) What are the extra features of the CIMB Merchant Portal?
  • Merchants can log in to the portal anytime at their convenience
  • Merchants can view their “Today” transaction. You will not need to wait for the next working day to receive the report
  • Merchants can also choose to download their “Data or Report File” for Today’s transaction (added advantage). As currently, merchants needs to wait an additional day
13) Will there be any changes in the report format or layout once the system is deployed?
There will not be any changes to the current report format or layout. You will still be viewing the same format and layout of the report. Reports are generated in txt format. You will be able to download the reports as per usual in txt file format

17) What if I forgot to download the reports for a particular duration & I now require the past 3 month's reports?
