Revision to Plaza Premium Lounge Features

To All Existing CIMB Visa Infinite and Visa Signature Cardholders,

We are pleased to inform you that that you will no longer require physical vouchers to access the Plaza Premium Lounge, effective 15 June 2020 and we have increased the number of Plaza Premium Lounge you can visit from 16 locations to 47 locations.
Current Updated as at 15 June 2020
Requirement to access the lounge:
  • Plaza Premium Lounge voucher
  • Passport or NRIC
  • CIMB Visa Infinite Credit Card OR CIMB Visa Signature Credit Card
  • A valid boarding pass

Hari Raya Aidilfitri Holidays
In view of the coming holidays for Hari Raya Aidilfitri, the following will be impacted :-

Indonesia - Account Credits
It will be a 5-day holiday from 21 to 25 May 2020 in Indonesia.
  • No manual clearing (more than IDR 25million) during the holiday
  • Manual clearing shall be resumed on 26 May 2020 for account credit to non-Bank CIMB Niaga accounts sent after 4.30pm Malaysia time on 20 May 2020
  • All account credits to Bank CIMB Niaga shall be processed should all beneficiary's details matched against Bank CIMB Niaga's records
  • Account credits within IDR25m to other beneficiary banks shall be processed if all beneficiary's details matched against respective beneficiary banks' records
  • Otherwise, transactions shall be processed from 26 May 2020 onwards
PT POS - Cash Payout in Indonesia
  • 21 and 23 May 2020 - Only main branches will open to public from 8.00am-1.00pm Jakarta time (9.00am to 2.00pm Malaysia time)
  • 24 and 25 May 2020 - All closed
Normal service on 22 May 2020; and from 26 May 2020 onwards.

Bangladesh - Account Credits and Cash Payout
It will be a 6-day holiday from 21 to 26 May 2020 in Bangladesh.
  • Account credit to BRAC Bank sent on 20 May 2020 after 3.00pm Malaysia time; and
  • Account credit to other beneficiary banks sent on 19 May 2020 after 1.00pm Malaysia time
shall be processed from 27 May 2020 onwards

Cash pick-up at BRAC Bank locations is only up to 4pm Malaysia time on 20 May 2020; and resumed on 27 May 2020.

4. Credit Card Services

The following services will be delayed and will resume once the MCO has been uplifted:

  • Delivery of member rewards
  • Delivery of campaign prizes

Notice on Base Rate, Base Lending Rate/Base Financing Rate and Fixed Deposit / Fixed Return Income Account-I Board Rates.
Effective 13 May 2020, our Base Rate (BR) will be revised from 3.50% p.a. to 3.00%* p.a. and Base Lending Rate (BLR)/Base Financing Rate (BFR) from 6.35% p.a. to 5.85%* p.a. Similarly, Fixed Deposit (FD)/Fixed Return Income Account-i (FRIA-i) Board Rates will be reduced by 0.50%* p.a.
