Here's how to access "Manage Card" in CIMB OCTO App

Activate your CIMB Credit Card via CIMB OCTO App


Step 1: Under Manage Card › Credit Card Activation

Step 2: Select New/Renew Card to Activate

Step 3: Set a new 6-Digit PIN for the New card. Use Existing PIN/NEW PIN for Renewal Card.

Step 4: Tap "Approve" and you're done!

Reset Your CIMB Credit Card Pin on CIMB OCTO App


Step 1: Under Manage Card › Reset Card PIN

Step 2: Select Card to Reset PIN.

Step 3: Key in 6-digit PIN & proceed.

Step 4: Approve with SecureTAC and you're done!

Freeze / Unfreeze Your CIMB Credit Card on CIMB OCTO App


Step 1: Under Manage Card › Freeze/Unfreeze Card

Step 2: Select Card to Freeze/Unfreeze.

Step 3: Read the important note & proceed.

Step 4: Approve with SecureTAC and you're done!

Contactless Payment With Your CIMB Credit Card on CIMB OCTO App


Step 1: Under Manage Card › Contactless Payment

Step 2: Select Card to Enable/Disable

Step 3: Once enabled, set the Daily Accumulative Limit & proceed.

Step 4: Approve with SecureTAC and you're done!

Overseas Spending & Withdrawal for Your CIMB Credit Card on CIMB OCTO App


Step 1: Under Manage Card › Overseas Spend & Withdrawal

Step 2: Select Card to Enable/Disable.

Step 3: Toggle to enable/disable overseas usage. For Temporary, select period of overseas usage.

Step 4: Approve with SecureTAC and you're done!

Frequently Asked Questions

With the new Manage Card feature, you can update your credit card settings seamlessly and securely. Refer to the table below on the settings that you can manage on CIMB OCTO App.

Credit Card Activation Activate your new, replacement or renewed CIMB Credit Card.
Reset Card PIN Change or update your credit card 6-digit PIN
Freeze and Unfreeze Card Temporarily block or unblock your credit card in case you have misplaced it or suspect it has been misused.
Contactless Payment Enable or disable the contactless payment feature on your credit card, and set a preferred daily accumulative limit for contactless payments.
Overseas Spending & Withdrawal Enable or disable overseas spending and withdrawals on your credit card.

  • Step 1: Login to CIMB OCTO App › tap More on the bottom right-hand corner
  • Step 2: Tap on Services › Manage Card

Yes, as long as you have an internet connection on your mobile device and can access the CIMB OCTO App.

There are no fees or charges to use this feature.

Yes, you can. Only Principal cardholder is allowed to perform Manage Card for their supplementary cardholder(s) using the Manage Card feature by selecting the credit card you wish to update.

This feature is available on CIMB OCTO App, you will need to download and activate the CIMB OCTO App before you can manage your credit card settings.

  • Step 1: Download the CIMB OCTO App here
  • Step 2: Login with your existing CIMB Clicks ID and password.
  • Step 3: On the homepage, tap on More on the bottom right-hand corner › Services › Manage Card
As a security measure to combat fraud, you will only be able to perform and approve banking transactions via CIMB OCTO App 12 hours after completing First Time Login.
